Lucia Emanuela Curzi is an Illustrator and Art director with a BA on Media Design, which she followed up with courses at the London College of Fashion.
After working in advertising for four years, In 2008 she moved to London and won the first prize the Company Magazine Illustration Competition launched by publisher Hearst Magazines UK and since then has been commissioned by a a wide number of publications around the world and exhibited her work in leading London Museums such as Victoria & Albert Museum and Tate Britain.
For years her work has been regularly gracing the pages of InStyle Magazine and her illustrations have appeared in numerous international publications such as Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Vanity Fair and The Sunday Times.
Among the commercial clients, one finds Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, Tiffany, Mac Cosmetics, Selfridges, Covent Garden, London Fashion Week, Laura Mercier, Acqua di Parma, Harrods, Tory Burch, Tod’s, Wolford and Swarosvski.
Lucia was based in Uk for nine years , but todays she works out of Milan and London.
Strong black ink marks, elegant lines and splashes of colour all characterise Lucia’s style. She specialises in fashion and beauty work for editorial, advertising and art direction for brands.
Lucia also does live fashion illustration at events using either natural media or a graphics tablet. Other areas she works in include textile design, ceramics design, architecture, publishing, video animations and packaging.
